FT8Call is an experiment to test the feasibility of a digital mode with the robustness of FT8, combined with a messaging and network protocol for weak signal communication on HF, using keyboard-to-keyboard interface. FT8Call is heavily inspired by WSJT-X, Fldigi, and FSQCall and would not exist without the hard work and dedication of the many developers in the amateur radio community.

FT8Call is pre-release provided to Amateur Radio operators to test this new digital mode, and is becoming more and more popular each day. Users are reminded that the current version (0.4.2) will expire on Monday 3rd September 2018 and will no longer run. This is to ensure that no older versions remain in use as they may have bugs or may be incompatible with future releases.

We will be releasing a new version before the expiry of 0.4.2 which will include bug fixes, enhancements and new features. Users will be able to download the new version from our website http://ft8call.info/downloads/
